In a moment of weakness, Zara confides in Rafe her embarrasment at her continued virginal status (she is in her late 20's). Rafe has been slowly falling for the new princess, but is honor bound by the king to leave her untouched. But when the two are forced to stay in a desert palace together, for Zara's safety, he finds his vow very difficult to keep.
