Catherine lives in the USA, is 24, a children's librarian, single and prone to day-dreaming. Her wealthy father is worried that she spends too much time alone and she will have a lonely life. He does a business deal with the King of a Bedouin royal family which also involves an arranged marriage for Catherine. Hakim is a Bedouin prince and a nephew of the King, and he happily accepts the arranged marriage. Catherine's father has asked Hakim not to tell Catherine of the arranged wedding and Hakim romances Catherine into accepting marraige. Luckily they are well-suited to each other and Catherine falls in love, but arguments erupt when Catherine finds out that their marriage was arranged. If you're looking for a light romantic read this is a good choice.
