He agrees in part to escape pursuit and because the destination is remote enough for his purposes and in part to impress the beautiful Nora. The planet of Yrnameer (Your Name Here) is one of the last without corporate sponsorship and rumored to be a peaceful utopia.

They set a course but have to deal with space cops and a ship full of zombies along the way.

Once when he arrives on this frontier planet he finds that they are being threatened by ruthless outlaws. The town needs a hero, someone tough enough to be their sheriff, and Cole is the only likely candidate.

Cole reluctantly falls into the role of protector while also trying to romance Nora
Best part of story, including ending: The basic plot is familiar but the writing is very funny.

Best scene in story: The opening scene where the bounty hunter alien is holding Cole and explaining to him about the egg-laying. They both discuss it very rationally despite what a horrific situation it is.

Opinion about the main character: He's basically Han Solo or Captain Mal, a loveable rogue with a heart of gold.
