In this other world, Jack befriends a large hairy creature he calls Wolf. Jack comes to realize that his friend is a werewolf as he begins changing with the moon. As the moon becomes more full, Jack sees how difficult it is for Wolf to control his preternatural urges and fears for his own life. If Jack dies now, so will his mother.
