The Winter Garden Mystery Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Winter Garden Mystery

Daisy Dalrymple is at Occles Hall to write an article about this stately home for Town and Country Magazine when the body of Grace Moss is found buried in the Winter Garden. Everyone had thought that Grace, a maid at Occles Hall, had run off with a traveling salesman. Daisy believes the police, intimidated by the local gentry, have arrested the wrong person, and calls Chief Inspector Alec Fletcher of Scotland Yard for help in finding the real murderer. This is a fine "cozy" mystery set in post-World War I England.
