A TOUCH OF DEATH was published in 1954.

Lee Scarborough has kidnapped Mrs. Butler, the wife of a bank director who just stole $120,000 from the local bank. Lee suspects Mrs. Butler killed her husband and hidden the money. So does the police. Lee wants all the money and, in exchange, promises to help Mrs. Butler leave the state. But it seems that the smart Mrs. Butler is manipulating Lee. Anyway, she doesn't hesitate to kill her husband's mistress in cold blood right in front of him.
