Watch By Moonlight Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Watch By Moonlight

"Watch By Moonlight" is a well researched novel based upon the classic poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes. Jason Quick is a man who has sunk to the depths of robbing passing coaches so he can get his father out of jail. He rides into an inn and falls in love with the innkeeper's daughter, Bess. They become engaged and would have a happy life together if Jason didn't have such a terrible alter-ego.
