Trudi Chase is a sucessful business woman who begins to have periods of time that she can't accound for. She seeks the help of a psychiatrist who discovers that she has Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) or Disassociative Identity Disorder (DID). She tells, in vivid detail, the story of childhood sexual and physical abuse at the hands of her step-father. This book is her own manuscript, written during recovery. It can be choppy, but is a terribly important story.
