He never says exactly what kind of torture he is into, it is left vague. But as the couple make repeated trips to Thailand, it is weird that is never explained what exactly Jack is in to.
In fact, aside from imprisoning Grace, he doesn't really torture her either. For a guy who likes to torture people, Jack doesn't really torture anyone very much in this book.
Grace pretends to be sick and demands to go to a doctor. Jack agrees and even lets her talk to the doctor alone. She tells the doctor she is a prisoner of Jack, but Jack has already told the doctor that Grace is a retard. The doctor offers to help Grace by giving her a prescription for Prozac. Heh heh heh. I think this was the funniest part of the book.

Grace finally gets to see Millie. They go to the bathroom together. Jack asks why, and Millie says she is bleeding from her v_gina and wants Grace to watch her drip, heh heh. In the bathroom Millie tells Grace that Jack pushed her down the stairs and broke her leg. Using her Frankenstein voice, Millie says Jack is bad. "Jack bad! Must kill Jack!"
Grace, thoroughly cowed by Jack, tells Millie that Jack is good and she must always say that (example #8 of being a willing slave). Millie says that but then adopt a code where she says overrated actor George Clooney is bad and George Clooney must die, where she means that Jack is George Clooney.
Jack and Grace have dinner with some Millie's forgettable friends. Millie does not use this opportunity to tell them she is a slave, or to demand that they take her to the police; she says nothing (example #9 of being a willing slave).
Grace likes to paint. Jack demands that she paint from photos of beaten up women. Grace obediently makes this sadism porn for Jack's pleasure (example #10 of being a willing slave).
Jack eventually hangs the paintings in the basement where he often locks Grace up. He promises to lock Millie in there when Millie moves in with them in a few months. This is to be Millie's torture--to be locked in a basement with ugly paintings. If there's more to the story, we never learn what it is.
The next time Grace sees Millie, Millie again insists that she wants Grace to see her bloody v_gina in the bathroom alone. Jack lets them go even though he should know something is going on. Millie hands Grace a large number of sleeping pills and tells Grace to kill Jack. Millie takes the pills but is too afraid to use them (example #11 of being a willing slave). Perhaps it could be said that in some ways, Grace is even more retarded than Millie.
Grace meets with Millie's caretaker Janice, but doesn't call for help (example #12 of being a willing slave).
