Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Loving Frank |
---|
Adulterers can justify anything. At one point Mamah thinks she can make up for years of neglect by taking her kids on a vacation. At another point she thinks it will be great for the kids to have two sets of parents. She'll think whatever she wants to justify her infidelity and irresponsibility.
A fancy house can't substitute for love. Mamah agrees to return to Frank when he promises to build her a house. What does that have to do with anything? True love doesn't require a house; true love can happen anywhere, even in a rented apartment. But these two fools act like they can only achieve supreme happiness by living in a fancy house designed by Frank. It's their downfall, and shows they missed the important things--relationships, and their children.

Some women will put up with anything. What's amazing is that Frank's wife Catherine refused to get a divorce, even after Frank has been boning Mamah for years. She's really in love with him and ready to forgive almost anything.
