Yejide: Yejide is a Nigerian woman married to Akin. She can't get pregnant which creates a lot of tension between her and Akin.
Akin: Yejide's husband. He can't get her pregnant, and it isn't until the very end of the book that we find out why--because he can't get a hard dick! So Akin has his brother Dotun stick his schlong into Yejide to impregnate her.
Dotun: Dotun is Akin's brother. He sticks his dick into Yejide to get her pregnant when Akin begs him to, but he keeps doing it even when Akin tells him to stop, so Akin beats the shit out of him.
Fumni: Fumni is Akin's second wife. In Nigeria it is ok to have several wives. I might enjoy living in Nigeria. When Yejide can't get pregnant, Akin's mom gets him a second wife to bone, not realizing that Akin can't get anyone pregnant because he can't get it up, heh heh.

Mooni: Mooni is Akin's Mom. She wants him to have kids and so gets a second wife for him. WhenYejide's kids get sick, Mooni thinks evil ghosts are involved and wants to whip the dead body of her kid to fight the evil ghost. Mooni is a retard.
Olamide , Sesan, & Rotimi: Yejide's three kids by Dotun. #1 and #2 die, #3 lives.
