Sugar's mom is angry that Sugar is spending time away from her. She tells Sugar that she is stupid and fat. Sugar's mom is a real fat bitch.
Even tells Sugar that Sugar's Mom is abusing her, and Sugar gets angry at Even. Sugar's mom doesn't really bully her, she just treats Sugar like a slave, making her cook food constantly and wipe her ass in the bathroom.
Skunk spits in Sugar's face and throws a knife at her (and misses). Sugar responds meekly.

Sugar's fat momma gets meaner. When Sugar brings her a cake, her Momma sticks Sugar's face into the icing. Then one of Skunk's friends, Caleb, tries to bang Sugar, but she refuses to be boned. It's ironic that Caleb has more sexual desire for Sugar than her boyfriend Even.
Caleb asks Sugar to suck his cock, he tells her she will like it so much that she will be begging for more. For the first time in her life Sugar refuses to put something edible in her mouth.
Then Even dies in a snowmobile accident.

Because he was such a boring character. He never did anything interesting. If I had to read about one more boring platonic date he had with Sugar I would have thrown up. The most interesting thing this character could do was to die.
