It is so bad there that everyone wants to leave and come to America.
Lola gets a boyfriend named Max. Max was sexually aroused by Lola's large Dominican ass. He even kissed it several times. Then he boned her.
The next chapter jumps to a story about someone else. But as usual, this asswipe author won't tell you directly who this chapter is about so you spend several pages reading a story about a person you have no idea who it is. Eventually you find out it is the story of Beli, the mother of Lola and Oscar, when she was young in the Dominican Republic.
Beli had huge 35 DDD breasts. Beli let a boy nicknamed Jack the Ripper bone her in a closet at school. He had an unusually large p_nis that hurt and thrilled her a lot. Unfortunately, school authorities caught Jack boning Beli. Jack got sent to a military school. Beli was not contrite, however. She believed she was free to get banged by anyone she liked.

Beli gets a job as a waitress and quits school, which displeases La Inca, who wants Beli to become a brain surgeon or something like that.
Beli gets boned by a man called "the Gangster", who is a senior official in the Trujillo dictatorship. Beli gets fired from her job. Beli gets pregnant with the Gangster's baby.
She imagines that the Gangster will marry her. The only problem is that the Gangster is already married to someone else, to the dictator Trujillo's sister.
The Gangster told her to get an abortion but Beli refused. The Gangster's wife is unhappy that Beli is pregnant with his baby. She sends some men to take Beli to a cane field and to beat the crap out of her. They give her a beating abortion.
Beli is beaten so badly that she has broken bones. La Inca sends her out of the country for her own protection, to the United States. The last thing La Inca tells her is that she is a daughter of a doctor and shouldn't be such a whore.
The next chapter unexpectedly shifts back to Oscar, now in college. He's fat and "talks like a Star Trek computer". No one wants to be his friend and no woman will bone him.
Oscar's roommate Yunior tried to get Oscar to lose weight. It didn't work.
Oscar fell in love with a girl named Jenni. Oscar caught Jenni being boned by someone else. Oscar went crazy. This is the main and recurring theme of this book, how Oscar goes crazy when he can't bone the woman he wants.
Oscar is so upset that he tries to kill himself by jumping off a highway overpass. But he lands in the plant section between the highway and merely breaks a few bones. What a retard! Who kills themselves over a girl, a girl one has never even slept with?
Oscar consoles himself writing science fiction novels no one will ever read.
Once again the next chapter jumps to someone else but we are not told who it is we are reading about. This time the asswipe author is writing about Lola, Oscar's sister, who has been sent to live with La Inca in the Dominican Republic.
