What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty Summary Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of What Alice Forgot

Characters

Alice: Alice is... I forgot! Just kidding! Alice is the main character of this book. She is a woman who hits her head (wack wack!) and suddenly forgets the past ten years of her life. Suddenly her loving husband doesn't want to bang her anymore, and three children have mysteriously appeared, even though she doesn't remember squeezing any of them out of her tight snatch. Alice has to find out why her relationship with her husband went into the crapper, but her asswipe family won't tell her anything.

Nick: Nick is Alice's husband. With her amnesia, she loves him, but before she lost her memory she was in the process of divorcing him. Alice, with her memory loss, doesn't understand why she would give up a guy with such a great sexual organ.

Madison: One of Alice's three children. The other two are little more than whiny window dressing so I'm not even going to mention them. Madison is a girl. They named her after a busy street to lower her self esteem and to confuse her into thinking that maybe she is a boy.

Elizabeth: Elizabeth is Alice's older sister. Throughout the story, she is busy trying to get pregnant. All she thinks about is what is in her v_gina, 24/7.

Dominick. Dominick is the principal at Madison's school, and Alice's boyfriend. He's a very sensitive guy. If you just take the first letter of his name as well as the last three letters of his name, you immediately know his purpose for Alice in the story. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Gina: Gina is Alice's best friend. Her best dead friend. Gina is a mystery to Alice, an extremely important mystery, until the end of the book, when we find out that she is not important or mysterious at all.
