Quickly we learn her mother has died , father moved and now she is having to adjust to whole new life. This is a tender story, well written, and helps us see how she adapts, grows and becomes herself in a more adult world....

This is a story of a woman who has been married for many years, and he husband suddenly leaves her. She has been a homemaker, and so needs to find a way to support herself. She meets a man who is a very unlikely match for her, but she befriends him. Relationships with her mother, son and ex-husband are also examined. She learns a lot about herself and her mother.
