Colm McGinty has been floundering from job to job for years. He calls his home Kelly's Irish Rose, a neighborhood bar run by Moira Kelly, who's been running the tavern since the death of her father. Moira used to date Colm but not any more, considering him a losing prospect.
Business at the Irish Rose is in toilet because of a spate of bad luck. Moira thinks it has something to do with the new bar across the street, but Colm isn't so sure.
