A major US corporation moves in to control an election. They send in a ruthless amoral young executive, and an attractive young blonde, to manipulate both the party in power and the people in general. One reporter stands between them and success, and he has the assistance of a major Asian community (Chinese): who have concerns of their own re 1997... And now, 12 years later, with another election in the offing, the same forces are in play again....
