The Measure of a Man
Poitier's second autobiography is a highly inspirational work, covering the "highs" and "lows" of a movie career that has lasted over five decades. The author displays a genuine sincerity in presenting his humble beginnings; paying much homage to his parents and his Caribbean roots. This is great read that not only dwells on the actor's profession, but it also is a good primer for those seeking motivation for their own lives....
