Darkfall
It is Christmas Eve and the workers at the Fernley House office building are celebrating. A lightening storm begins and when a maintenance worker in the building's basement becomes afraid of the boilers exploding, he races to tell the office workers but he finds everyone to have disappeared. The only trace of human life left behind is a severed hand. The maintenance man alerts the police and that is when Detective Cardiff is called in to investigate.
