posts on 10/6/2006 11:19:14 AM themes are statements, not words. a single word is a topic so the theme can't be something like loyalty. A theme for the Lovely Bones would be something if you love it let it go or all pain heals with time, something along those lines.

posts on 9/8/2006 3:24:52 AM The lovely bones is a really good book i would recomend that you read it if you have not. It is one of those books that you have to form your own opinion on. but it is a really good book it made me cry
posts on 9/7/2006 4:34:18 PM hey people. yeah i havent even read the book yet, im sitting here looking at it. i have to do a book report on it so i got on the internet to look up a summary and information so i can kind of do the report without reading. which yeah its bad but i got a time limit on this thing so yeah. it does look like a good book from what i've read on my computer but i got to do the report, i'll get around to it. but does her killer get caught? i dont know peace
posts on 6/3/2006 1:30:25 PM not sure...loyalty, death, truth, trust, family bonds, emotion in general...you could spin it a lot of different ways, you just have to be creative. and i still haven't finished yet, but im getting there. ciao.
posts on 6/2/2006 9:09:13 PM ok so does anyone know the theme of the lovely bones?
posts on 5/21/2006 7:04:27 PM just curious...would anyone here recomend reading the lovely bones? my sister read it...and liked it...but she hardly ever reads...so it could be really good...a person who doesn't usually reads enjoys the book...or really bad...a person who doesn't have many books to compare it to thinks its good...so i need a little advice...although i will probably read it either way. thanks. (hearts)
Crystal posts on 12/23/2005 1:05:02 PM I didn't really like "The Lovely Bones." I felt so bad for Susie's little brother when his mother leaves him to grow up without her. I felt she was really selfish.
May posts on 12/23/2005 8:10:50 AM Boppy, Resident Scholar . THE DESCRIPTIONS OF HEAVEN ARE UNREALISTIC. think. heaven is whatever you want it to be, if you are a religious person. if not then heaven IS an unrealistic place.
