Alice Sebold Message Board

lisa posts on 6/7/2005 12:17:34 PM the reason we are looking for cliff's notes is because we obviously don't want to or don't have time to read it. commenting and saying "oh just read it, its great" doesn't help much.
Lou posts on 4/28/2005 9:18:27 AM Thanks to Howard Stern and his girlfriend, Beth O. I decided to get the book Lucky. This is sad to admit, but other than a few biography's in my life, Lucky was the, what I call "real" book that I have read in my 30+ years of my life. I must say it had me from front to back in the two days I read it at work.. Alice is a strong woman, I wish I knew more about the roommate and if the guy that raped her had to do with Alice. And I wonder where the cheep is now and if she ever wonders he will come looking for her. great book.
donna posts on 4/27/2005 5:17:05 PM This book is raw and wise, and I believe she was very brave to put herself out there completely naked as she did.

Angie posts on 1/28/2005 2:30:46 PM I think that this book is a wonderful truth telling story of Alice Sebold's devastating rape. It gives girls fromall over the country who have been raped, courage and strength to move forword. It lets them believe that the rape is not the end of their life, that they can move on and be all the can. This book is a must read for any women,or any man that cares about one. Forget the cliff notes and read the whole book! You won't regret it because how do you know that you don't like something until you have read it?
