I didn't care for Leo either. He made Lena forget about all her morals and values, and that didn't sit too well with me. Overall, I felt the book was kind of rushed. Maybe that was me reading too fast, but I wish Ann would have spent more time with the characters at home. In fact, my favorite section of the book was right after Bee got back from Turkey and right before they all left for Greece. The ending was nice, though. I felt it wrapped up the book in a way that gave me a sense of closure, but still left room for imagination. The "Someday" didn't upset me too much. I like Kostos a lot more now then I did before, so the thought that those two might "someday" meet again isn't bad. I know this was a long post, but I have tons of thoughts and comments about the book...so I would love to hear what the rest of you think!

Ann is thinking about writting a book where the girls are adults. I would definitly buy that book! And, i agree with you ***SPOILERS*** I didn't like the way the relationship with Lena and Paul ended! I didn't cared about Leo. Paul is mentionned like one time in the book, when Carmen reads her messages and that's all. And that "Someday" thing made me angry. I didn't wanted Kostos to come back. I think Lena's part was a bit disapointing...

I haven't been on here in forever but I found an email the other day from here and I thought I would check out what's going on. The fourth book was great. It really was. But I really hope she writes another. It would be so cool if she wrote one with all of their daughters or something. And a second movie would be great, but Bridget's storyline might have to change since they changed it to where she got over Eric in the first movie. And Brian didn't fit his description at all in the first movie. But oh well. A second movie would be cool.

ok. SPOILER! SPOILER! First of all I thought the book was pretty good. It was'nt my fave but it was good. Although I HATE it when authors leave you hanging. Which is how it ended with Lena and Kostos. I mean "someday" what does that mean? What happened to Paul? I was really happy with how things ended with Bee. She didn't cheat on Eric. I guess she learned her lesson. Carmen lost her identity for most part of the book. But it was bound to happen. Tibby was, well, typical Tibby. It's sad that the pants are lost. It's sad that it's is the end.

For all of you still wondering about "Girl of Lost Things", I found this in an interview:
Q: What happened to "The Girl of Lost Things"?
A: Ah, my lost girl. I wrote that between the third and fourth "Pants" books. I was going through a hard time personally, and the novel was too sad and dark. It was painful to write and painful to read. I didn't feel confident enough to put it forward. Maybe I'll go back to it someday.

What is all this about Girls of the Lost? and what about a new movie? A new traveling pants movie??

Her next book is coming out in june. It is called something like the story of you and me. It is an adult novel. She said that there is a lot of talking right now about a second movie and all the actresses are a go for the movie.I saw her speak last night.

Yeah, Chibi and others, I did hear that they are starting to make a new movie. I don't know when it is to be released, though. I'll let you know. Thanks for all of the information about Girl of the Lost Things. I also heard about the book that would be similar, but with older girls or something. -Rosalie
