donald wood posts on 2/20/2008 1:58:24 PM dear anne would you mind terribly if i based a fictional character on you for a sory i'm working on?
posts on 5/28/2006 9:27:23 AM This may seem very low brow and possibly in bad taste given the almost divine state of mind that lestat and co. seem to acquire once they become vampires, but, why don't they have sex? With all the passion running around and the erotic themes of the books i find it very hard to believe that they don't copulate because they no longer need heirs? (as was suggested, i think, in queen of the dammed)Even if drinking blood is still supposed to be better than sex, i still don't find vampire celibacy very plausible. Any suggestions?

Ash posts on 1/31/2006 5:26:08 PM This is definitely my fave Rice book. The way she describes the different locations - brilliant. Being from New Orleans - I can see exactly the locations she is writing about.
