I've rapidly run through the 19 Joe Gunther mysteries and await the 20th. Joe is inhumanly intense, excessively introspective, and gets hurt a lot, but you gotta admire his spirit. Great characterizations of his crew and other people, and much about Vermont, maybe too much about its politics. I recommend this author.
