Carlos Hugo Sánchez, was born in a town of Great Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1954. He is divorced and he has got two daughters. He fell in love with Literature when he was nineteen years old and was still studying engineering. At that time he had the feeling that writing would be a way of expressing himself and, also, a way of letting the others know about his melancholic perspective towards the world.
He got his degree in Spanish Language, Literature and Latin at Escuela Superior Mariano Acosta, a very prestigious institution where Julio Cortázar also studied. He has not worked as a teacher for a long time. He has written more than 50 short stories and three novels.
