Your kids will LOVE the books by Rick Riordan, first one is Percy Jackson & the Olympians Book One: The Lightning Thief. For kids about 10 years old. It has mystery, mythology and monsters. Most adults love it too. Rave reviews for the series.

Anonymous, for the most part, I'd say no. They are MURDER mysteries after all. A little too gory for 10-11 year old kids I would think.

Carolyn Hart's books are how good mysterys should be writen.
