I just read "Snowed In" by Christina Bartolomeo and enjoyed the plot and characters alot. A few inaccuracies were evident in her research on the book's venue. 1. The Tate House Mansion is closed at the time of year her characters visited, and 2. THe Portland Observatory has NOTHING to do with astronomy. It was a tower for observing ships as they appeared in the harbor. It was how one knew that one's ship had come in!
