Darryl Zoller posts on 9/1/2007 5:45:11 PM I have a First Edition, Second Printing copy of Corrie ten Boom's very first book, AMAZING LOVE. She has signed the front endpaper and written Romans 5:5 underneath her signature. Does anyone know how Romans 5:5 was especially significant to her? If you would like to learn more about this copy of her book, read its description on an eBay listing.
Brian posts on 8/23/2007 4:14:56 PM There was an old movie about Corrie Ten Boom, and I thought it was her sister. This was in the late forties or early fifties. I can't find any mention of it any place. I would like to buy a copy of it if I can find it. Naturally it was in black and white. I don't remember the name of the movie. I have bought the new version from the 70's, but would still like the original. Brian....

Onfire28 posts on 6/26/2007 10:50:18 PM This book is an amazing story of the strength of the human spirit. I read this in the 7th grade (for fun, I might add), and it has stayed with me for a long time. Sure, I understand just trying to get through school. I was the same way with every math class I ever took, but seriously, getting notes from this website to do a school assignment is not "getting through." It's getting by. Take this advice: get through the book. Make yourself read a couple of chapters each night. It's a great book, and incredibly uplifting. Good luck with the book!

Anonymous posts on 3/25/2007 11:13:53 AM yes we are lazy but we're just trying to get through school. you have to understand. if i could get some notes on it that would be amazing :)
posts on 9/30/2006 11:20:41 PM What a bunch of lazy students. And shallow ones, too. No one notices the faith and trust in God these women had that brought them through such hardships. These women were REAL! They are examples to us for times which may be ahead, when our lives may not be as easy as now.
