Gilly posts on 12/7/2006 12:41:07 PM I thought that Paypal had stopped processing payments for House of Sages. Apparently they are accepting payments for Wildcat Arrows again. If you paid through Paypal and have not received your book, you may want to file a complaint with Paypal. If I am mistaken, then I apologize.
Patter posts on 11/29/2006 11:03:49 AM I see by others messages that they too have had an awful time getting their books. I waited over 20 months and wrote repeatedly to them asking, begging and demanding to know where is my book? Once, Cory wrote back and said that "the books were still shipping, but that he'd look into my order and let me know something." Never heard back from him. Finally I got results by finding my original order number and I wrote an email to them giving that information as well as the fact that I noticed that their web site was still advertising (Wildcat Arrows)and it was recently updated. I told them to either send me my book or give me my money back. At last he wrote back. He said that he "checked my order and had RESENT my book via postal mail and that he hoped I enjoyed it." I did get the book. It took a LOT of persistance. Nag, nag, nag. With luck you can annoy them into upholding their part of the bargin. I had recently ordered the book through Amazon. It was cheaper there and it was sent quickly. In the future it will be the only place I buy anything from Dara & Cory. I asked them, "don't you want your fans to by happy, repeat customers? You rely on word of mouth advertising since you no longer use a publisher and exclusivly depend on the internet for sales. An unhappy customer is not a repeat customer." By the way the address for The House of Sages is House of Sages, p.o. box850033, Braintree, MA 02185. Or email them. Flood them with complaints and demands. Goodluck everybody. Patter
Blue posts on 11/28/2006 7:16:34 PM i never said dara and cory were great people. i decided long ago that i am never buying one of their books again. i only wanted those who had to go through so much and wait so long to get their books to enjoy them in peace. i am very sorry for what has happened to all of you here. i know many of you are hurt and upset. but whats done is done and there is nothing you can do to change it now. i didnt want to be the one to tell you this but dara and cory do not care how you feel. if they did they would have been around through all of this to tell you so. they only care about how this effects them. its a shame. but that doesnt mean that you cant find an author who does. being here is a choice. for any one who has not received your book yet i wish you the very best of luck. keep trying. i have finsihed reading my book. if you would like to email me at bluediamonds888888 at the free email that starts with a "y" and ends in "o" i will send you mine. take care.

Pamme posts on 11/27/2006 8:54:14 AM Doesn't it just make you want to grind you teeth to see "that book" advertised on Amazon for more unsuspecting people to order when they haven't even taken care of their orders from over a year ago?? Talk about shameless nerve. And it's a slap in the face to the fans who trusted them enough to send advance payment. Her few leftover fans may try all they want to talk up what a great book it is and what great people Dara & Corey are but you can't fool the people who had to deal with the hassle of either not getting the book at all or getting it after a lengthy fight only to be hugely dissapointed in it's quality. Amazon should pull the book until she resolves her dealings with her previous customers.
Stefanie posts on 11/21/2006 9:17:54 PM I ordered this book March of 2005. I emailed her with a change of address in August of 2005 and got a reply back confirming the new address from "Cory". When I started seeing the book on Amazon I emailed her and was told it was in the mail. That was in March this year. I've emailed her multiple times since, but still haven't heard back again or gotten my book.
kati posts on 11/13/2006 9:16:19 PM I am truly sorry you all have had an awful experience with receiving your book; Wildcat Arrows. I ordered mine and though it was a long wait for it, I found it very entertaining. I howled with laughter and was truly entertained by the story. We are all entitled to our opinions and I respect each and every persons right to like or dislike something and express their feelings about it. So keeping that in mind I am glad to say that I enjoyed the book.
Donna posts on 11/13/2006 6:44:51 PM I also was notified that my copy was in the mail last November. After multiple emails to them, I have finally (last week) received my copy. I am in the process of reading it now, so no comment as to the quality of the work. But just keep emailing your query as to where is your copy and hopefully you will get yours.
cayla posts on 11/13/2006 3:54:19 PM Gem, You can still threaten to contact the MA attorney general if you don't get your book. Follow the guidlines Elizabeth set forth. Best of luck. Cayla
Gem posts on 11/13/2006 2:48:16 PM At leat you got to read the book, I'm from Canada and paid a pretty price and guess what it never came, and I'm frustrated and getting no where and no replies anymore from Cory thru the website.
Nicole posts on 11/10/2006 8:24:47 PM Well I finally got notification today that my book was "resent?" but with no tracking number. So I requested it and got it also. There is hope out there yet as I hadn't sent any more e-mails since I requested from this forum how to get my book. Whether the book is a good or not has never been my issue. I just wanted what I had paid for so long ago. So those out there that are still waiting for their book keep the faith. Seems they are shipping but who knows how many at a time. By the way I originally ordered and paid for my book in May 2005!
