Mr. Pelzer, The first time i heard your story is when you were on tje Montel Williams Show talking about your book, A Child Called IT. That was years ago when I was home sick form school. I cried my eyes out, hearing the hoffic things that you went through as a child!! Now as an adult and a mother of three beautiful little girls, I can't imagine ever treating my children the way you were treated! I commend you on your strength to survive and make it out of your mother's house! I also admire you for being able to face her as an adult and forgive her! That tool tremendous courage! Good luck to you and your family in the future! I wish you all the best!

your books made me realize how lucky i am... i am so happy that i had read your books "a child called it, the lost boy and a man named dave." well honestly it took few months for me to finish reading a child called it although i had finish reading the other books... everytime i open the pages of a child called it, i always end up crying and asking God how could He ever allow to happen such thing to any child. you have no idea how much you inspire me and how much i promoted your books to any person i know. Every time i felt upset, i just imagine your life and how you fight againts the odds. you put meaning so much to everything i think it worthless. sometimes i dream of meeting you personally but i know it is very impossible so i just pray that you will still continue to inspire every person.. i believe in you and your books no matter what silly people think and say about you... im just so happy, so inspired by you that i appreciate my life more than ever. thank you again David Pelzer..

Hi i have just finished your book a boy called itthis book was the most interesting but sad book i have ever read i wanted to climb in the book and help you its such a shame so many youngsters only know a start in life similar to yours ithat book has made me change the way you view people and as a mother myself i still cannot understand how any body treats children this way you should be so proud of yourself you are somebody children and adults can look up to as a hero instead of worshiping tv stars and vanity i feel like i know you and i wish you every happiness and blessings you are a real star.
