Dean Koontz Message Board

chrisb.co.uk posts on 8/25/2005 5:21:20 AM On this site I have berated DK for what I felt was a lack of effort on his part for churning out drivel like The Taking which had a very poor storyline and even weaker characters. However I certainly can not say this about ‘Life Expectancy'. What a brilliant and clever storyline and for me DK, in Jimmy Tock, has found a new Christopher Snow, who was never that believable anyway. He reintroduces genuine humour back into his work, which I don't think has been there since ‘One Door Away From Heaven'. Mr Koontz, Please keep this effort up and perhaps think about another story with Jimmy in it, that would be great!
Pat Surrey posts on 8/13/2005 9:01:23 AM Steph, what do you think DK was thinking when Thomas found the room in Robertsons house with the time travel? I hope he is going to bring back Toms girlfriend but then that opens doors that could cause a lot of questions. Why just her? Who else should he bring back and how does he decide? I love all of DK works but my favorit is Watchers. Do you know that his dog Trixie has her own web sight? And sends email. Have you ever heard of a writer named Robert McCammon? His stuff is mostly out of print because he was going to stop writing books but now says he is coming back. If you can try to get some of his stuff. I think the best is They Thirst but it is very hard to find. The next best one for me is Swan Song. When I read Swan I cried. so if you like abook that grabs you by the mind and heart read this. Good to talk to and everyone.
Cynster posts on 8/7/2005 5:27:13 PM Hi Pat. I finished Frank. Bk.2 three days ago. As always, it was excellent. It is so hard to wait for sequels to your favorite author's stories. I empathise with you! It seems that Mr. Koontz is busy with various works in progress, I believe. Wouldn't it be nice to read a sequel to Fear Nothing and Seize the Night. Carpe Noctum! I know there is a sequel to Odd Thomas coming soon. Well, take care!--Steph

Larry Kinney posts on 6/30/2005 11:24:37 AM Hi Knootz fans, This is for serious Knootz book collectors. I have Fear Nothing, Seize the Night and False Memory for auction. These are Lettered limited editions from Cemetery Dance Pub. Search under my name larryki. Thanks, Larry
Cynster posts on 6/29/2005 9:38:21 PM I bought most of my older versions from e-bay. You'll usually find a fan who is getting rid of their collection. The books may not be in the best shape--but that's ok with me. The price is usually quite low and they will charge a shipping fee. I counted 47 books--according to the list inside of Velocity. However, there are actually more. Check out fantasticfiction -- one the net. Good luck !
Pat Surrey posts on 6/29/2005 8:37:11 PM If anyone can reach Mr. Koonz please tell him not to feed Trixie grapes. they are very bad for a dog.
