My heart goes out to Audrey, Kat and Diana and especially little Pumpkin.
I can't add to the cat-litter discussion, because I don't have a cat, but I am sure I would opt for the clumping type!

Different people recommend different sorts, but I recommend the clumping stuff every time - much easier all round. Jocelyn, I'm so pleased that you have a book to be published. Do let us know the title and I shall buy it for my grandchildren. You have one fan already! ME! I have now managed to go done with yet another chest infection. Poor Hugo is quite worn off his paws from looking after me so he slept on his favourite chair all afternoon and Henry did duty as Deputy Cat Carer very well by sleeping on me for the duration. Deric I often think of you and send you and Aileen my love as well as everyone else who posts here - Diana, Southampton xxx

Jim, clumping, well I prefered it much easier to deal with, and cheaper in the long run,hardly any mess, if your still not sure try both and then decide, love to all. still think about Deric and family and all of you out there ttfn audrey
