Still can't really take in that Deric is no longer with us..we are moving house at the moment so all my books are packed away..my favourite is 'enough to make a cat laugh' kind regards, Gill, Belper.xx

This question isn't Deric related, but I've recently watched several movies set in England like Notting Hill. And I noticed that they didn't have door knobs, just dead bolts. Is that an English custom, or just a quirk in those movies? Thanks from sunny Arizona!

Great news! There are three brand new collections of Deric’s Radio Derby scripts coming out this year. These original short monologues often featured or were adapted to Deric’s books. Watch out for Radio Times!!

Hello everyone, especially Aileen and the Longden family. Wanted to post before Christmas, but everything was tidied away and disconnected!! Thank you everyone for your good wishes to our family over Christmas. I was a tough one without Deric's great sense of humour but we talked to his urn and still feel his presence in their beautiful home. Happy New Year to all his readers. Love from Deric's family xxx
