Diane Mott Davidson posts on 7/27/2013 6:56:32 PM Greetings, faithful readers! The next Goldy adventure, the 17th in the series, is THE WHOLE ENCHILADA, and will be published August 27, 2013. Here are some answers to questions: The puppy Latte was given to one of Goldy's neighbors. Yes, the first name of Sergeant Boyd was inadvertently changed, and all of us missed it; sorry. Now he is just called "Boyd." The "Galaxy Doughnuts" recipe is in THE CEREAL MURDERS. The first book in the Goldy series, CATERING TO NOBODY, was published in 1990. At that time, no other author was publishing mysteries with recipes, which is why my agent had such a hard time selling it!
Anna posts on 7/22/2013 9:09:33 PM Hi all. I am searching for the recipe from one of the books that was for doughnuts that had butter in the recipe and were fried in butter. Can't find it!! If anyone has it, can you post it here? thanks!
Jill posts on 3/24/2013 8:04:52 AM I just finished reading Double Shot and loved it but I was wondering what happened to the new puppie Latte. Did I miss something at the end of Chopping Spree?

Jojas posts on 12/7/2012 5:54:01 PM In regards to the post by Mary Garrison, Joanne Fluke published the first book in her series a full two years before Davidson started her series so she did not copy Davidson's work.
Peggy Friewer posts on 10/10/2012 10:56:24 PM Love the Goldy series. Can't wait for the next one ! I miss her, can't wait to hear how she is doing.
Karen posts on 10/10/2012 10:04:43 AM I always thought her cooking mysteries were like dessert - quick and sweet and fun. Also liked Fluke, Claudia Bishop and Lou Jane Temple.
J posts on 10/2/2012 6:23:08 PM I absolutely love all of Ms. Davidson's books! I will re-read them as I run out of the series and look forward with great anticipation to her next great mystery. The plots are always fresh and new, the characters well-built and the suspense accelerates to the final conclusion in each story. She writes these stories so well; we are pulled into their unfolding drama as though we too are living in the stories.
d posts on 9/18/2012 1:52:44 PM i have read all of diane mott davidsons books up to cruch time-why did she quit writing? i have been waiting to buy more but there isnt anything out there.
Katherine Eskew posts on 9/6/2012 10:07:33 PM I enjoy all of Davidson's and Fluck's books. I would like longer story lines, written more often. I am out something to read.
Brenda posts on 8/30/2012 10:18:09 PM Another discrepency: Officer Horace Boyd in one book and Officer Bill Boyd in another?
