Did Robert Heinlein believe in racial & genetic purity? Message Board

Many of Heinlein's books talk about the group of people known as the Howards who practiced selective breeding to breed a race of long lived people. Isn't this breeding for racial superiority and if so does that make Heinlein a racial purist?


Bizzx6 posts on 10/3/2009 9:23:32 AM Absolutely not. Racial breeding at its best is a null statement (genetically we are all one race). Long life has nothing to do with "racial" superiority.
