Amazing impressions I'm getting from this book.Characters and settings,language and plot are quite original,grounded in the earth .The city of New york and its people,the baseball championship and the myth of the ball of the great victory of the Giants,the time of all lives symbolically taking place around the turning of events from predictable to unpredictable bring us through an astonishing fragmentation of time and history,both personal and social.
