i loved this book. Finally a summer read that kept me interested and entertained. I could not sleep until i finished.

I just purchased Elins' new book, Barefoot. I am so glad I found and read her previous books. I have always wanted to visit Nantucket and these books take you there. Thanks for the wonderful stories.

Just finished Barefoot in record time. I can see you maturing with each book, and the motherly essence with which you filled Barefoot is a testament to your growth and development as a human being. You have always had an eye and a heart for your characters, but this book touches the deepest recesses. I am proud to see how fervently you plunge into each new project , like delivering another fully formed baby, which then has a life of its own.
I know you won't stop writing, since for you writing is like breathing. So keep breathing, you wonderful you.

Are you going to be home for Christmas? If so, let me know the dates and maybe we can get together. It would br great to see you guys this year.

I just love your books..I just finished Nantucket Nights and can't come to grips with the ending. I so much want more of this story and these people. Especially Theo. I do not think secrets can be kept. I want to know what happens when and how Theo finds out about Antoinette. Can I get an answer?

hi my name is sara and im an 18 year old gir from San Diego CA and i have read all your books and i am in the middle of the blue bistro. after i read nantucket nights i wanted to come here and im actually here right now on sea street in my hotel. i just wanted to say thank you because your novel was the inspiration to this vacation with my sister mother and grandmother. this island is beautiful and is just how i imagined it would be. your one of my favorite authors and i look forward to more of your books. thank you.

Hello,
I just finished to read your book "Nantucket Nights" (the french translation) and I loved that book! This afternoon I am going to the public library to get "Beach Club" (french translation). The only two books from you they have. I am searching for your other books on the internet and found out that you have written another one, "The Blue Bistro". Be sure I am going to read it even in English.

Elin I loved the Blue Bistro! I have read all of your books and have been waiting for a new one. You did not disappoint! Agreat story and a good insight into the private world of the restaurant business. did you mimic a certain restaurant or was it fictional?
I can't wait to be back on the island this summer and will think of the blue bistro every time I'm in town enjoying a great meal.
