Sandra Glover posts on 12/22/2006 3:05:30 PM I just finished "Standing in the Rainbow", all of your characters have now become my neighbors. I can especially relate to Norma. I just found out about "Can't Wait To Get To Heaven" and I can't wait to read it. Thanks
Lyn Kleven posts on 12/1/2006 4:28:16 PM Ms. Flagg, How did you start writing? "Can't Wait to Get to Heaven" made me feel like I too have a story to tell. that if there were one thing that would be a regret of mine it would be NOT to write it. It burns inside to get out as much as the fear I have to tell it keeps it in. Any advice on how you can get through the whole process of writing it? It doesn';t really matter to me if it is any good, I just want it out there with the possibility that it might help or inspire someone as your books do for me. You make me think Ms Flagg and for that, I am truly grateful.
Rebecca Patterson posts on 11/20/2006 10:57:32 AM I was at U. of A when you were in Bham tv; have read your other books and being from Atmore/Brewton understood the connections.Haven't been able today to find out your connection to MO(where I live now)..Redbird Christmas much enjoyed last year, is topic for book groun in Fair Grove Dec 13. My husband, who does not read much, is asking for your last book to be brought home.
Kathryn posts on 10/19/2006 3:49:54 AM I've only seen the movie it made me laugh, mad, and cry. I loved it! is the book better?
Dan Owen posts on 10/15/2006 8:48:31 PM I was introduced to Fannie Flagg via the movie version of Fried Green Tomatoes. I knew there had to be more to the story so inevitably bought the book, and after reading it have become addicted to Fannie Flagg's writings. I am reading the older writings, but broke weak and bought the latest about Aunt Elner's death experience. It was great. She is the greatest. Keep on writing.

posts on 9/18/2006 10:18:19 PM Hello Fannie. I am a friend of a very special loving lady, Mrs. Underwood. She told us that she was your teacher before. She is very ill with cancer that has spread into both of her lungs and we are trying to make her as comfortable as possible untill the end which isn't far away. She said you were coming near Fairhope or Daphne and she would very much like to see you. She is at a hospital in Daphne. If you could please email me and i will give you more information. Again she would really like to see you. Thankyou for your time. Michelle
