Faye Kellerman Message Board

posts on 6/26/2006 6:25:06 AM Sorry Bruno but that's "cop" talk to me,and as I'm not from the U.S. I am not over familiar with the abbreviations I just read a novel whole for enjoyment without analysing it page by page otherwise it just wouldn't get read. Over to the experts, how about you John DeG.?
posts on 6/25/2006 4:28:58 PM Hi Sheila, on Stalker by Faye Kellerman, chapter 2,pag. 13, ther's an anacronym: RTO. It should be some kind of Radio TXX Operator. Can you tell me what's the whole stands for? Many thanks Bruno
posts on 6/18/2006 1:38:05 PM Bruno, May I suggest you re-read the paragraph? This, I'm sure is an observation of Decker's first impression of Farina's husband, Jason. HE works out, NOT Decker. Jason is "well bult".

posts on 6/17/2006 5:48:35 PM Hi, On Stalker by Kellerman, on pag. 7, in the middle, there is a small sentence which seems to me wrong: "Jason worked out". It should be Decker not Jason, unless I did'nt catch the proper meaning of worked out. Is there any one who can help me. Thanks
posts on 6/12/2006 8:47:10 AM Julie, As far as I can Tell, Justice was the start of Terry & Chris and Peter, try to read it, I'm sure you will then understand the bitterness Donatti holds for Peter.
posts on 6/6/2006 1:49:47 PM Kay, I don't think she's is portrayed as "too tough" when one considers the mental and emotional adjustments one must make to deal with the strain being a police officer must entail. They see the worst of the worst that humanity has to offer. And even more so when one is a police officer in LA. I would think that this toughness would be a requirement. Julie, I'll check back and post if someone doesn't get to it before me. Bruno, CAPS refers to the division in the LA Police that focus on "Crimes Against Persons" and GTA refers to the division that deals with "Grand Theft Auto." And you're right about the "Dees."
posts on 6/4/2006 4:32:27 PM Hi, on page 9 of "Stalker" there are two acronyms "CAPS and GTA" of which I need the meaning. There is also "Dees" which, if I'm right, may mean Detectives. Is anyone there who can help? Tks Bruno
posts on 5/30/2006 12:16:57 PM I have just finished my first Faye Kellerman audiobook - Stone Kiss. In which previous book does the author cover the story of Chris, Terri and Peter? Thank you
Kay posts on 1/7/2006 5:02:51 PM I have one gripe, though. I think the author's making Peter's daughter a bit too "tough". The idea is that she is too like her father but, I don't think he was that cynical & hard-hearted. Just my opinion, folks. Take care. Kay in Kirkuk
cheryl posts on 1/7/2006 3:55:44 PM Never mind my post. Just found my answer on the message board dated 5/2005.
