Marilyn posts on 11/5/2005 4:37:47 PM Joan, Join the crowd, we have been crying for a new one of Peter and Rina for a long time. Please Faye if you hear of this, be kind to us, we know it takes a while but we are suffering withdrawal pains. MMC
Joan posts on 11/5/2005 10:54:24 AM Will we ever have another book in this wonderful series. I enjoy all Mrs.Kellerman's books but my particular favorite is Peter and Rina. Please, please, please, another book featuring these two wonderful people and their family. Joan
sheila m. bent. posts on 8/30/2005 2:43:55 PM Oh, alright, your let off, Your misses could leave you at home on your own and go on a spending spree, with your hard earned dosh!! as for good books, yes, but, I'm sad to say straight into darness is not holding me glued to the pages as she usually does. but, I can say with hand on heart it's the very first book of F.K.s that hasn't. am I being to hard on her?

Marilyn posts on 8/30/2005 2:39:54 PM Sheila, Trace in no. 13 in the Kay Scarpetta series. It is hard to make sense out of some parts unless you know the backround. Her first was Postmortem. Still coming out in paperback. Once I startedI couldn't stop. I know so much forensics I could be a COP. We'll give John a break and stop picking on him. MMC
J.DeG posts on 8/30/2005 11:54:20 AM Mea culpa, mea culpa!!! I give!!! Uncle!!! Okay you guys, lighten up huh!?!?! I mean the last vacation I purposely went on was in 1987!!! Reagan could still give speeches without a TelePrompTer then!!! Wide ties were still all the rage!!! And Cindy Decker was still a gleam her Daddy's eye!!! For goodness sakes!!! {okay, enough with the exclamation points!!!} And what's this about a girl named Moniker? I don't know where that came from. Gadding about huh? A cad huh? And this from my original fan club members? Boy, nothing lasts like it used to does it? One day you're riding high, writing and reading books, trying to expand mankind's knowledge and the next thing ya know, you're being crucified for going to Virginia to eat clams and OD on seafood. Boy!!! Okay, I'll stay home from now on. But the wife will take it hard though. LOL!!! Ummmm, hey you guys, read any good books lately?
sheila m. bent. posts on 8/30/2005 10:46:56 AM Yeah! isn't he just, Shall we let him out of the doghouse now or give him some more ear-bashing?? Trace is my next read, never read Patrica Cornwall before.. J.K.s Rage is not as gore filled as most, he's toned this one down, for the better. made it so much for the imagination to kick in!less is best and all that... have you read P.J. Tracey? wow, bet you enjoy these three books, give them a go.
Marilyn posts on 8/29/2005 8:05:34 PM He is such a cad, I think he also has someone named Moniker. That's a man for ya. I just finished reading Trace by Patricia Cornwell. She is really good. However this one was a little too discriptive. Kind of like JK. But hers is in forensics. Smart women. MMc
sheila m. bent. posts on 8/29/2005 5:31:01 PM Just listen to this man Marilyn! off he he goes on holiday and not a word to either of us!We are the founder members of his fan club and not an inkling he was off gadding about!! I thought he was working hard on his novel, didn't you?
Marilyn posts on 8/29/2005 8:35:18 AM John , You think we are talking behind you r back huh, well you an't heard nothin yet baby. You went on vac. without even telling us!!! Glad we all agree on FK's failing to continue the beloved series. I will get to Rage, is it JK new one. I have been really busy with the DEATh series by JD Robb, (Nora Roberts) and James Patterson I haven't had time for anyone else. MMC
J.DeG posts on 8/28/2005 8:40:38 PM I don't believe you guys!!! Talking about me behind my back right to my face!!! LOL!!! But of course you are both right. I have been remiss in my correspondence but for good reason. I took a vacation!!! Well, a little one. As a matter of fact, I just got back in the door from Virginia Beach. Plus I am still rewriting, so there's that. And you're both at fault there. Thank you very much. Marilyn, I'm still planning to meet you at the donut shop, but it'll be at least September so we'll probably need hot cocoa to dunk em'in. And Sheila, you know I'm looking forward to some authentic fish n' chips, but I'm waiting for good ol' Scolan' Yard to catch ALL the bad guys before I show up in Jolly Ol' England!!! Now, I did love Rage and agree that it was a page-turner. I haven't made time for the other one yet, but I thought the premise had possibilities when FK referred to in another novel. I suppose I'll get around to it in the next month or two. As I said, I literally just walked in the door from coming off the highway and I had a whole box full of books waiting for me that I bought from an Ebay seller. I don't know when I'll have the time.... But I also agree with you guys! Hey FK!!! Bring back Cindy!!!!!
