Tammi posts on 5/29/2012 2:38:48 PM So since this Sherlock TV series is on is anyone else going back to read the original stories? I just got an old copy of all the stories at a library sale and am reading through them again. I liked the older series from the 80s better than the modern one.
Barbara L posts on 4/19/2012 11:16:37 AM 'And Then There Were None' is a classic sort of 'locked room' mystery. You have only 10 people on a remote island and they are getting killed off one by one so the suspense hikes as you have to figure out why they are being targeted and who the killer is. Some of the language may seem old fashioned but it is really a good read.

Mona posts on 3/13/2012 12:05:52 AM Just read "I Am Me" by Ram Sundaram. It's a two-way book, with twin narratives that start from either end to meet in the middle. So you get 10 stories on each half. The table of contents are identical on each half, because the stories have the same title, but are written in two totally different ways! One half is more fantastical and dreamscape-ish, the other is set in reality. It's very interesting and really makes you look at life from a different perspective. MUST READ!
Virginia Llorca posts on 3/6/2012 10:39:59 PM Lawman by Virginia Llorca is a fastpaced, dialogue drivne, somewhat racy modern love story. It is for sale on Amazon and Smashwords for Kindle and Kindle apps and all electronic readers.
Chloe Villars posts on 3/6/2012 5:49:15 PM If you like fast paced, hair raising suspense, then read the ‘Blue Fate Series’ by Cass Tell. These are intense action thrillers that follow compelling characters across international settings.
Ione posts on 2/16/2012 10:09:43 AM June - I bet it was the third Jane Rubino book. I tried to refer to the title too but it was blocked. Sometimes I run across a book with a really rude title that I would be embarrassed to carry to the checkout at a book store but this title is not snarky or obscene so I dont get it. Maybe some kind of filter at work.
June posts on 1/30/2012 2:00:07 PM Is this board overly sensitive? I tried to post the title of the book and there is nothing profane or slang about the title but it would not put my post through until I just put that it was the third book by this author. How do you post about a book if it is not possible to put the books title in the post?
Andy posts on 1/13/2012 8:30:20 AM I cant make the review function work either. Maybe this board just went to anybody can post anything as long as its about books? I can add a comment to a board that is already up but cant do a review of an individual book.
George W posts on 10/3/2011 7:53:23 AM I dont know about the review function. Maybe it was discontinued. I did not have a problem posting to a forum set up for a particular author. Maybe you could start up a discussion thread for the author and the books and post a short review there?
