Gerald A. Browne Message Board

I have read and own hardback and paperback copies of It's All Zoo, The Ravishers by Merle Lynn Browne,
11 Harrowhouse, Hazard, The Arousers by Merle Lynn Browne, Slide, Green Ice, 19 Purchase Street, Stone 588, Hot Siberian, 18mm Blues, and West 47th.
I have The Arousers by Gerald A. Browne and The Ravishers by Gerald A. Browne in paperback only (word for word the same as the ones by MLB, including dedication).
My hardback copies of 19 purchase Street and 18mm Blues are autographed, my hardback copy of It’s All Zoo has a personal inscription (not to me).
If there are other books that you have written, please advise.
My speculation on the non-appearance of a fresh novel is fueled by the selfish frustration of not being able to read a new story from you for the past ten years.

Me thinks there's a 'fungus among us'
ie balbirer. Now that we have at last found Mr. B [who appears to be alive and well] let's not give him cause to
cease and desist communicating with us.
I'm willing to believe it's not a hoax.

FYI I am indeed me. And as for being 'scared' to write another novel, tain't so. As I said previously I am working on screenplays. 19 Purchase Street for one. Tell me which novels of mine you've read. Bet you haven't read them all. How about some of the early ones? Anyway, I appreciate your interest.

I believe that Mr. Browne is still alive, but that you will NEVER see a new novel from him.
I believe that he is trying to profit from past accomplishments and is scared of releasing anything new.

Do any of you REALLY believe that Gerald Browne posted to this board? I think we're the victims of a hoax.

What a nice surprise to see a message here from you, Mr. Browne.
While I'm eager to see the movies you
are currently working on, more exciting
is the anticipation of another novel
from your 'pen'. I never met a Browne
novel I didn't love.

I'm a great fan and have read everything you've written. Where in Litchfield County did you live?

For what its worth I am working on the motion picture versions of Stone 588 and 19 Purchase Street. I have another novel in progress however that is on the back burner because of my film writing and producing. Would enjoy hearing from any of you.

Am great admirer and fan of his work.
Had Rush 929 on hold for months, then
was notified it had been cancelled. I wrote to Mr. Browne via snail-mail inquiring of book's demise, but alas no answer.
