Gerald Morris Message Board

Anne posts on 8/4/2007 4:44:30 AM Yes, and as I said earlier, I really hope we find out what happens to Eileen - she just seems to have faded from the picture for now. And I wonder how on earth he's going to end it all? The "real" (ie in the "original" stories)are a bit sad and gruesome at the end, what with Mordred, and with Guinevere being tried and all the knights dying... Let's hope he can make some sense of it all.
Jo posts on 8/3/2007 5:44:53 PM Lucky for me!!! I just read a few posts that weren't so recent and he is writing another book and Terence is gonna' be the main charecter!!! Oh, happy day!!! :)
Jo posts on 8/3/2007 5:02:12 PM I figured he has to be writing another book 'cause something has to happen with Mordred. I hopw the next book talks a lot about Terence. I just love that charecter!!!

Chautona posts on 8/3/2007 4:59:18 PM I think he says a little bit further down that he IS writing more and that he's also doing some work for younger children as well.
Jo posts on 8/3/2007 3:47:28 PM Does anyone know if Gerald Morris is writing another book??? I hope so!!! I wonder, too, what's happened with Terence and Eileen. . .
Chautona posts on 7/30/2007 10:07:30 PM I'd love them on audio. I'm thinking Jeremy Northam, Alan Rickman, Keneth Brannaugh, Emma Thompson... oh boy the list of potentially exellent readers is immense.
Firebird posts on 7/30/2007 10:01:03 PM I wish the Squire's Tales books were on audiobook!!! <:-(
xaM posts on 7/20/2007 8:07:10 PM Hey, I'm one of the slightly older posters and I read up and checked in on the sight. And I would like a real message board too, but this one is fine and convenient. I don't think their is a Gerald Morris sight, but their are plenty of other sights like this one. And to add to the 'good authors list' I like AVI and (for sports fans only) Mike Lupica, and John H. Ritter.
USS_ferryboat posts on 7/13/2007 11:09:12 PM I first found Gerald's books when at the library while I was working taking care of a girl. Why she was browsing, I wanted to find something to read myself, but I didn't have much time and I had to keep an eye on her. I pulled out Savage Damsel and thought it looked interesting. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it was book three of a series, so then I ordered them all from my library so I could read them in order. I fell in love and just reading the posts on this board makes me want to read the books all again. I can't wait for more of them too, but in the meantime, for Firebird, I'll list some of my other favorites: Gail Carson Levine, Mercedes Lackey, especially her Elemental Masters books and a new favorite, Tamora Pierce.
anne posts on 7/8/2007 1:52:09 PM does anyone else find it disconcerting that 16 years pass before the "Lioness"? What's happening to Terence and his lady, meanwhile? She'd be 32 by now - did they ever marry? And, in the legends, isn't Lancelot supposed to produce a fairly important son sometime? It seems a very long time for Gawain and Terence to be away from the Other World, as well. (Love the books, by the way)
