Geraldine Brooks Message Board

Jennifer posts on 8/17/2010 5:33:21 PM To those emailing trying to have others write their book reports for them, please just take time to enjoy reading. It is one of life's great joys and a life long pursuit of knowledge. If you have trouble reading, don't be afraid to ask for help from teachers, that's what they are there for, to help you.

Linda Mc Enery posts on 2/28/2006 5:58:27 PM I thoroughhly enjoyed this book. I love Geraldines Brooks anyway and this book was intriquing, compassionate, filled with information related to the freedom of the slaves, and filled with detail relevant to history. I would like to hear what other readers think.
