That was possibly the worst review of "The End of the Affair" ever. It is not a romance, it is a book about faith, jealousy and is a serious literary book. The physical descriptions of the characters are hardly important, and the odd check list is not only entirely superfluous but also largely wrong.
It is a challenging and well written book which challenges the perceptions of the reader and asks questions about faith, and as such, it succeeds. It's worth reading.
