posts on 6/4/2006 6:11:53 PM Okay, fine, I'll admit Valiant was good, if it makes you happy. Tithe still tops it. Anyways, the movie rumor has been going on for a while, so does anyone have any solid info on it, or what?
posts on 6/2/2006 8:04:49 AM Excuse me, but Valiant was wicked! i think it was as good as tithe, in a way. is it true that tithe is gonna be made in a movie?
posts on 6/1/2006 10:09:45 PM Okay.. sorry for intruding in the whole Corny conversation, but I just wanted to say, yeah, he's a pretty sad character, and Janet's no goddess either, but you have to admit, with all the flaws in each of Kaye's companions, it just helps her shine a bit more, don't you think? So all in all, Tithe was a really good book, if you get past the drabbiness of the situation and language, and look at it for what it is: A modern FAERIE TALE. The good character is usually the only one who's supposed to be all good and beautiful (well, comparitively), right? Name one faerie tale in which they aren't. Now, who agrees with me on the fact that Valiant was.. um, okay, I guess... right, I'll cut the rambling...

posts on 5/24/2006 8:20:59 PM I thought it was a pretty dandy book, one of my favorites in fact. Corny may not be a very likable character to some people, but I found him to be a really good character. He's really messed up which makes him very appealing to me. He had to stay alive because Kaye's best friend had already died and if he died it would leave her pretty much friendless. With no friends she wouldn't have very many ties to the real world and it would make it too easy for her to just frolic off with Roiben. Main characters aren't aloud to have it easy. It just doesn't work..
