Does anyone know who played the character of the barber? He had the line that said something like "I don't know why we hired a coach that has been in the water the last 10 years."

I know Rade "Steve Hollar" played for Warsaw when they won the State Championship and actually made a couple of last second free throws in that win. Steve Hollar played @ DePauw University for 2-3 years. He is now a dentist in Warsaw. Steve was very competitive and was a skilled player.
Kent Poole played @ Western Boone High School. I can't remember his name in the movie but he hit the shot off the pickett fence - Kent passed away a couple of years ago. Was a good player and good guy.

I would be interested to know if the players on the Hoosier team belonged to a particular high school or college team or just actors with some basketball skill.

It's possible I may be able to produce officially licensed jerseys resembling those in the movie. Before making an investment and doing so, I'd really like to get some sense of what interest may exist out there (and so my wife doesn't kill me in my sleep for pursuing this idea!). If it's something you'd be interested in owning, somewhere in the $50 range, please respond to the bulletin board. I could probably be up and running by next "March Madness." Thanx!

My husbands shop is restoring the bus from the movie "Hoosiers". We have searched the net for a still photo of it as we are restoring to original and all words will be lettered by hand. Finally, the 2 DVD set that shows all of the deleted scenes and answers a lot of the unanswered questions. Especially, how did Buddy get back on the team? (The situation with him was more involved than one can surmise from the edited movie.)
It was awesome to see these scenes... and there are a bunch of them.
