Iris Johanson Message Board

posts on 9/12/2006 6:16:46 AM I've been hooked on Iris Johansen's books since the early 80's. I've never read a book of hers that I didn't like. Though I like the newer books, I have to say that I really miss the 'old' Iris type books: "A touch of Topaz", "Wicked Jake Darcy", "Magnificent Folly", and my all-time favorite, (I've read this book so many times I can practically recite it) "Tender Savage". I would love to see more of these kinds of books. Her plots are unbeatable and her characters are so realistic that they seem like old friends of mine.
posts on 9/2/2006 3:59:36 PM I saw Iris Johansen has another book coming out in December, called Stalemate. I can't find anything out about it other than that, though. Has anyone else heard anything? I hope Stalemate continue's Jock's story. I have to admit I'm a fan of his. And MacDuff must have his gold, of course.
posts on 8/9/2006 9:24:16 PM OMG I have to say that I just LOVE your books! The first book I read was "Countdown" and I just fell in love with the book. The book made me believe the story had more to it such as when Jane met her lover and I went searching and asking for your books and turns out there is more to it. I found the books that told Eve Duncan's story before she adopted Jane and ever since then I make sure I read them in order. I was wondering though when your next book will come out or if one already did, where can I find it? I just finished "Body of Lies" and I'm looking for the next one. Your stories are just such an addiction that I just can't put the book down. I finish a book in about four days and that's only because I have school and work but I spend late nights just reading them.

posts on 8/5/2006 6:01:23 PM Sean Galen is in almost every book she writes and I think he's amazing I hope to see more of him in up coming books
posts on 7/11/2006 8:36:34 PM Does anyone know where I can contact Iris Johanson? Or if that is even a possibility? All her books are amazing.
posts on 7/10/2006 8:01:14 AM Did I miss something in Killer Dreams? What happened to McGuff? losing his castle and the legend of the buried gold? I hate loose ends. Maybe I read too fast. Thanks
posts on 6/10/2006 8:52:30 PM Killer dreams isn't so much a sequel as it is a side-story that takes place after Countdown. It uses the character of Jock Gavin from Countdown and it continues his story, about him being brainwashed. But again, Jock Gavin is just a secondary character in this, instead she makes a comrade of his a primary character. and we see the return of Jane Maguire here too, which I'm thrilled about.
posts on 6/7/2006 9:28:18 AM Does anyone know if Killer Dreams, the new book by Iris Johannson, is a sequel to another book?
posts on 5/23/2006 4:11:15 PM Thera are two books after this one, Storm Winds and Reap the Wind, They are great stories!
posts on 5/22/2006 5:41:49 PM I was just wondering if anyone knows what the sequel to the Wind Dancer is and where i can find it??
