salil posts on 9/7/2005 11:03:38 PM can anyone pelase tell me how many sexual encounters are there in trainspotting and also what kind of sexual encounters? is it too cinky?
Greg Moxness posts on 7/29/2005 8:09:42 PM Dear Sir, I've been reading your books and have been deeply moved especially by Glue and deeply entertained especially by Porno. The book in subject I found horribly disturbing but after intensely brainstorming the meaning of such an abrupt ending accompanied by such extremely tragic content, I think I understood. I really think this was a great book in the darkest sence of something complex and far from comedy. It showed tragedy of a very high degree. I didn't post to hear more of my extensive opinions though. Did you mean that if people don't take command of their surroundings, they'll end up well f*#$#ed? I'm deeply sorry if I've misinterpreted the meaning of this book. Also I'm welcome to any feedback for this post whether it is from Mr. Welsh happening to read this or someone else. Farewell

heli posts on 7/6/2005 3:25:05 PM I started reading welsh's books at the age of 20. far too late. even though i study english at university, it is quite hard for me to understand every brilliant detail, because i am from germany.by now i read glue, porno and trainspotting. every singel page is like an littel orgasm...
kieran mcmahon posts on 3/7/2005 11:04:49 AM possibly the best writer of the last decade, I read trainspotting (with difficulty) when I was fourteen and came back to irvine aged eighteen, utterly uique, one of the only writers to write so contemporarily (?) with force and so disgustingly yet beautifully. Brilliantly drawn characters, totally realistic and entirely outlandish at the same time how does he do it, I could go on.
Max Cunningham posts on 1/19/2005 11:08:44 PM I just started Trainspotting, and like his book Filth, which I just finished, I cannot put it down. Like the addictions he talks about in his novels, I become addicted to his writing. Anyone with an appetite for witty, and pulpy writing will absolutely love any of Welshs' work. He is a true genius.
eddie posts on 1/14/2005 4:07:33 AM i can't believe there's no posts on Mr. Welsh yet?! he's a complete legend! he was the inspiration for me to start writing and one day i hope to meet him so i can congratulate him on his literary genius. thank you for your time.
