Clinty posts on 6/27/2005 9:21:10 PM With the help of my American friends I made a rumor about Robert Redford making a new movie about phobias, panic and not leaving home. The story is based on a screenplay I wrote a year ago about two men being neighbors and helping the other with separate problems in there lives. I was wishing for email to help my screenplay.

Jack Seabrook posts on 6/22/2005 11:26:47 AM In "Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket," a young businessman is overly attentive to his work and does not pay enough attention to his wife. He lives in a Manhattan high rise. One day, he stays home to work on a new grocery store display method and the piece of paper with his notes blows out of the window. He climbs out onto the ledge, high above the street, to recover the paper. The window shuts accidentally and he is trapped out on the ledge. It is a very suspenseful story! I have a book on Finney coming out early next year from McFarland Press. All of his work will be examined in detail, much like my book on Fredric Brown.
Ramsey Campbell posts on 6/14/2005 9:37:38 AM WHAT IT'S LIKE OVER HERE, I should think.
Clinty posts on 6/3/2005 5:56:36 PM Robert Redford will be directing, producing and acting in a movie based on a man who has been phobic and has not left his house for over 40 years. His character learns with the help of a neighbor that his life is more valuable and important than his phobias and just as relearning to walk his character relearns to live a joyous life in the physical world again.

Ashley posts on 5/9/2005 8:08:07 PM I need people to tell me what they think of Jack Finney's Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket!!!!!!!!!!!!
Al posts on 5/3/2005 6:21:21 PM The story itself was good, but the time traveling is very bad. Even if i could believe that you could convince yourself you were in the 1880s and actually be there, when Si, prevented the meeting of the Doctors parents, he should have been instantously brought back to the present and have no memory of the project, because the doctor would never have been born and therefore never created the project and never have sent him, in which case, he would not been able to stop the doctors parents from meeting.
W posts on 4/17/2005 7:10:38 PM Is anyone out there interested in discussing this book? I read it recently and enjoyed it quite a bit. Also, does anyone have any information about the World Building fire (also known as the Potter building)? I was interested in it, but there doesn't seem to be any information.
